Our team are getting ready to lace up their boots as we gear up to participate in this year's eagerly anticipated World Cup-on-Sea football event in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital , a charity dedicated to providing life-saving care for children. 

The 7-a-side charity football tournament returns for its fourth consecutive year at the iconic home of Southend United, and as teams prepare for the showdown, anticipation is building over whether last year's champions will maintain their title for a third successive year, or if we can bring home the trophy in 2024.

This event not only brings people together for a fun-filled day of friendly competition but also serves as a platform to raise funds for an important cause. Supporters are encouraged to make donations through our dedicated Justgiving fundraising page . Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful difference in the lives of young patients and their families. Last year a staggering £39,700 was raised, and we're looking forward to contributing towards this year's total.
