A natural problem-solver, Jamie joined Rickard Luckin as an audit and accounts trainee in 2003, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2008. After a short time gaining experience at a top 25 firm, he returned to us in 2011 before becoming a Director in 2011.
It was at this time that he transitioned from audit and accounts work into the tax department, subsequently becoming head of our Tax and Financial Planning Team, alongside a seat in our Executive Team. More recently, his role has become more focused, and he now spends his time advising individuals as a Client Experience Director for Private Clients; working closely with our financial services colleagues to ensure that our clients receive an all-encompassing tax and financial planning service.
Throughout his career, Jamie has received regular recognition and accolades from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), including Young Chartered Accountant of the Year 2012. In 2015, he was also ranked in Accountancy Age’s 35 Under 35.
Jamie is a member of the ICAEW and the Chartered Institute of Taxation. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children; he is also a sports fan, particularly golf and football.
He is also a keen supporter of local charities, having been involved in organising the Havens Hospices ‘Play on the Pitch’ event since its inception. Additionally, in 2010 he ran the London Marathon for The Miscarriage Association.
