Rickard Luckin is proud to support local community and charity initiatives.

We are committed to making a positive impact in our local community and passionate about supporting local initiatives and charitable causes. Through active involvement and generous fundraising efforts, we strive to contribute meaningfully to the well-being and development of the communities we serve.

The Essex Community Foundation

In 2011, we set up a charity fund via Essex Community Foundation (ECF), which enables us to donate money raised throughout the year to local, smaller and less well-known charities. Since 1996, ECF donors including Rickard Luckin have distributed over £34m to community charities across Essex.

Through our passionate team engagement across multiple fundraising events, our active approach is what helps grow our charitable fund year-on-year through regular donations. The whole team are invited to support the Rickard Luckin Community Fund and are able to get involved in the decision-making discussions, choosing which voluntary organisations will benefit each year.

The Rickard Luckin Charity Team

As a firm, we strive to support local Essex based charities and encourage charity fundraising by individual team members. Our dedicated internal Charity Team was also created to help coordinate our charitable activities and support the firm in giving back to the local community.

Giving Back Together

£1k donation is made to a registered local charity put forward by a team member each quarter.

Food Banks

We support a number of local food banks, making regular donations throughout the year.

Christmas Giving

The Christmas Giving Tree initiative donates gift bags to local charities. We also organise a Christmas Jumper fundraiser for Children in Need.

Easter Egg Donation

Our team donate Easter eggs to a variety of different charities, including local food banks and those who provide support to victims of domestic abuse.

As a team we’ve always enjoyed organising fundraising events and supporting local causes. Working with ECF has helped us to be more effective with the money we give. The Foundation handles all the grant applications and helps us to find organisations that will really benefit from our support.

Environmental, Social & Governance

In 2022 we attained the highly respected ESGmark® certification; recognising our commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance principles.

The ESGmark® certification is an important and increasingly recognised way for organisations to communicate their responsible approach to business with credibility. ESGmark® members are at the forefront of the business world’s move to a more responsible way of operating with respect to the planet and society.

Volunteers Day Policy

Rickard Luckin is keen to support team members who wish to undertake volunteer work benefiting the local community. We offer up to two days per individual per annum paid leave to undertake volunteer work to help UK-registered charities and other organisations undertake projects for positive improvement in the community.
