As a company deeply rooted in our local community, supporting this event is incredibly important to us. Race4Business unites businesses and individuals from across the county, all with the shared goal of supporting our community and the essential work of Havens Hospices.

Havens Hospices provides specialist care and support to people of all ages living with incurable conditions, as well as to their families. The money raised through Race4Business helps the charity continue their vital work, offering comfort and assistance to those in need.

The annual charity race, now in its 25th year, took place on the evening of Wednesday 3 July 2024, in Chelmsford. 15 members of the Rickard Luckin team participated in the event, which featured a 5km timed run through Central and Admirals Parks.

The race had a fantastic turnout, with nearly 700 runners from local businesses participating for fun, fitness, or in memory of loved ones. The event raised over £27,000, making a significant impact on the families supported by Havens Hospices.

After the race, participants enjoyed the evening at the event village, where music played, and a variety of food and drinks were available.

Rossella Inguscio, Senior Corporate Fundraiser at Havens Hospices, expressed her gratitude, saying: "We’re very grateful to our co-sponsors whose generosity has allowed us to bring the local Chelmsford community together. Our hospice care can only exist because of the support of businesses like Rickard Luckin and everyone who takes part in this brilliant event."
