The King’s Awards for Enterprise: A prestigious opportunity for Essex businesses
The King’s Awards for Enterprise 2027 will soon be open for applications, offering UK businesses the opportunity to gain national recognition for their success.
The King’s Awards for Enterprise are the highest honour available to British businesses. The Awards recognise success in four fields – International Trade, Innovation, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity.
Winning can lead to increased profile, a boost to recruitment and improved staff morale. Crucially, past winners report benefits in terms of new business. The Awards are open to enterprises of all sizes and sectors, including not-for-profit. Applications open on 6 May 2026 and close in September 2026.
As a firm that has supported businesses in their award journeys, we encourage those considering an application to attend a free online webinar on 16 April 2026 at 2:00pm.
During the webinar, you will hear from Chloe Evans of The King’s Awards for Enterprise central office as she shares the criteria and eligibility requirements, gain valuable insights from Deputy Lieutenant Keith Attwood on the support available to applicants, and be inspired by stories from previous winners speaking about the business benefits of winning.
