Louise Groves
SBT Associate | Basildon
Louise Groves is an Associate who supports our Small Business Team (SBT).
Louise started working with us after completing her A-levels. In 2016, she completed her ACA qualifications to become a chartered accountant.
In the SBT, Louise specialises in the preparations of accounts for start-ups and smaller businesses, which includes individuals, partnerships and companies. Within this role, she works with a variety of sectors, including:
- Construction, land and property
- Professional services, including consultancies and legal services
- Leisure, tourism and hospitality
- Retail and wholesale
As part of her role in the SBT, Louise works alongside all teams within Rickard Luckin to ensure that her clients receive the best possible advice on a range of services when required. This can include specialist tax and VAT advice, payroll and bookkeeping.
Louise is keen to understand her clients and what their goals are as individuals and businesses. By doing this, she ensures that she can assist them in finding opportunities to achieve these goals as well as plan for the future.
She works closely with her team to ensure that every SBT client has the support they need, not just for statutory compliance matters, but also to help with general business enquiries which can arise throughout the year.
Louise prides herself on her professional, yet friendly nature. She enjoys having a strong, trusted relationship with her clients so that they can rely on her when needed. In the past, clients have commented on Louise’s personal approach and her willingness to go above and beyond to help them and their businesses.
Alongside her work with clients, Louise acts as a key point of contact in the establishment and maintenance of clients. She strongly believes that knowing and understanding her clients well allows her to give the best advice and work as the trusted adviser that they need.
Louise is a member of ICAEW (the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales). Outside of the office, Louise enjoys being outdoors – walking or running and travelling to different places around the world.
