APH3G Ltd, based in Benfleet, specialises in vacuum forming and fibreglass moulding.
Originally established in 1948 by Arthur Hollings as a pattern-making company, they bring over 75 years of expertise in manufacturing vacuum-formed products, fibreglass mouldings, RIM moulding with machining, assembly, prototypes, jigs, and fixtures, all inspected with CMM before dispatch.
The Hollings family has owned and managed the company since it was set up, with Andy Hollings, Arthur’s grandson, taking over the role of Managing Director over more recent years. This was until last year, when he reached out to Rickard Luckin for assistance with his own exit planning.
Andy Hollings shares his experience working with Rickard Luckin:
"I have recently completed a Management Buyout (MBO) and used Rickard Luckin to support me along the way. I explained what I was trying to do and laid all my cards on the table, and they then went to work putting a deal structure together that worked for both me and my team.
The whole process from start to finish took around three months and went very smoothly, as I was supported and guided through a process that was unknown to me at the start. They advised me on the most tax-efficient way to get to my end goal of retirement, and I am happy to say that I am now there.
Thank you to James Boustead and Jess Allen and the team for all their support and knowledge throughout the process."
